To let your car get to where the gas light comes before putting gas in it?

I love popcorn, as did my dad. He also would just spit the husks out onto the floor with the idea they would get vacuumed up eventually. I thought this was normal until I was told otherwise by my partner. To this day I hate swallowing the husks. Is this normal?

My memory is shit, but when I was a kid I was renown for it; I won memorization-based competitions. Is it normal that it never occurred to me that memory is a skill? It was only good as a kid because i practiced like crazy and it’s bad now largely because I don’t invest any time into it?
